A friend was asking me if I knew anything about 3D animation and it reminded me about these images. They are digital snapshots of some 3D models I made using 3D Studio when I was studying Interactive Multimedia about 6 years ago.
I spent an entire week building the 3D models out of individual shapes joined together and was going to learn how to animate them. I had this whole storyboard planned out where the Star Destroyer (That's the wedge shaped thingie for you non-Star Wars inclined people) bears down on the Millenium Falcon (The other wierd shaped dohicky) and pulls it in using a tractor beam.
Then the school kinda went into some kind of problems and we didn't have an instructor. Not long after, we just stopped going to class.
Think that kinda put a stopper on my "artistic inclinations". And there I was... thinking that I could someday join Lucas Arts... *sigh*
